The NHS this year is being held at Selangor Turf Club, and is being hosted by the Equestrian Club. The date for the NHS is the last weekend in September.

This years NHS is planning to hold certain events that will make it a more memorable experience than previous NHS's in the past. these events will consist of the following, a breed display, hot air balloon rides, wall climing, carriage rides, handmade and food bazaar, and the main event, the equestrian competition. STC have decided to rename the National Horse Show and call it the "Horse Carnival", it is an event with fun and exciting things to do for the entire family.
The show director will be Cheryl Victor. Australian dressage judges Sue Chandler and Annie Hall will travel to Malaysia to judge the dressage classes with Sherry Thomas and Natasha Mustapha, who are currently in Malaysia at this time. RSPC Club Manager Mohd Siraj has been appointed President of the showjumping ground jury.
